The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that Iman Shumpert will be out 12-14 weeks with a right wrist injury, which will require surgery.
The Cavaliers say he suffered a ruptured Extensor Carpi Ulnaris sheath in his right wrist. Shumpert had an MRI yesterday MRI at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health yesterday by Dr. Thomas Graham and Dr. Richard Parker.
David Griffin told media earlier today that Shumpert hit the rim last week with his wrist while training and told the Cavs yesterday.
Shumpert will undergo the surgery tomorrow at the Cleveland Clinic.
