Cleveland extended their winning streak last night with a 90-84 victory against the New York Knicks in The Big Apple. Defensively, the Cavs held the Knicks to 84 points on 29-79 (.367) shooting from the field, including 31 points on 11-41 (.268) shooting in the second half and 12 points on 4-21 (.190) shooting in the fourth quarter. The Wine and Gold are allowing 94.2 points per game this season, which is the 4th-best mark in the NBA, per Cavs.com.
The Bucks expect to get their starting point guard, Michael Carter-Williams, back on Saturday after missing the last five games with a strained left ankle, per Cavs.com.
This is the first of four regular season matchups between the two teams. Cleveland is 5-2 in the last seven games against Milwaukee, which includes a 3-1 mark against the Bucks in 2014-15. The Cavs have also won the last two matchups at BMO Harris Bradley Center, per Cavs.com.
In their most recent matchup in Milwaukee on April 8th of last season, the Cavaliers clinched their fourth Central Division title with a 104-99 victory.
