Game Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Miami Heat

The Cleveland Cavaliers look to end their two-game losing streak tonight as LeBron James goes back to Miami and faces his former team. The Heat are 11-6 on the season. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. Eastern on FoxSportsOhio and NBATV.

The Cavs lost a heartbreaker in overtime at New Orleans last night. LeBron scored 23 points in the fourth quarter. Cavs ultimately fell short and lost 114-108.

The last time these two teams met was back in October in the home opener where the Cavs dominated and won 102-90.

Per Cavs.com:

The victory was Cleveland’s third straight home win against Miami. In the second half, the Cavs had 17 assists on 20 made field goals and finished the game with 25 assists.

The Cavs shot .857 from the charity stripe and outrebounded Miami 49-38. Defensively, the Wine and Gold held the Heat to .429 (33-77) shooting from the field and .286 (6-21) from beyond the arc.

LeBron James had a game-high 29 points on 13-19 (.684) shooting, five rebounds and four assists in 34 minutes of play.

Kevin Love recorded his 2nd double-double of the season, as well as his 296th of his career, pouring in 24 points, a game-high 14 rebounds and five assists in 33 minutes; he also shot a perfect 9-9 from the free throw line.
