Nets halt Charge rally

The Canton Charge, once down 20+ in the third and fourth quarter had a rally late in the fourth quarter, but ultimately lose and the rally falls short as the Charge lose to the Long Island Nets 120-118.

The Charge had seven turnovers in the third quarter, which led to a Nets big lead and they never looked back, despite the Charge rally. The Charge had 23 turnovers tonight and 15 turnovers last night. So far in this young season the Charge are averaging 19 turnovers per game. The Charge defense also has been a problem the first two games of the season. They gave up 134 points last night and 120 points tonight. The opponents, in these past two games are averaging 127 points per game. The Charge also do have an issue in the first quarter, as they gave up 39 points last night and 32 points tonight, which is giving opponents 35.5 points per game in the first quarter.

Yes, it is only the start of the season with a new group, but it is concerning.

The Charge did do well shooting the ball tonight, as they shot 50.6% from the field. 50% from three and also 72.7% from the free throw line.
