The Cleveland Cavaliers started off the work week very well, with a win over the Milwaukee Bucks, 124-117 in Kevin Love’s return.
The Cavs looked like a normal team tonight, even without head coach Ty Lue, who is take a leave of absence due to health reasons. The Cavs announced it before Monday night’s game.
With, or without Ty Lue, the Cavs have a pretty new team once again with Love back in the fold, and will have a whole new team once Larry Nance Jr., Cedi Osman, Rodney Hood and Tristan Thompson return from injuries.
LeBron James notched another triple-double in Monday’s win against Milwaukee, as he had 40 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one block. Kevin Love in his return had 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Love also hit four three’s. Jordan Clarkson had 17 points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal. Jeff Green had 14 points, three assists, one block and one steal. Ante Zizic had 13 points, six rebounds and one block. Lastly, Kyle Korver had 12 points and six rebounds.
The Cavs had six players in double figures on the night. The Cavs also shot 49.4 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from three. The Cavs also had 23 assists on 43 made field goals on the night.
The Cavs home stand continues tomorrow night against the Toronto Raptors.
