The Cleveland Cavaliers ended their three-game home stand on a perfect note, defeating the Phoenix Suns, 120-95. In this three-game home stand, the Cavs defeated the Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors. The Cavs have now won four in a row. With the win, it pushes the Cavs lead for the third seed 1.5 games up on Philadelphia.
The Cavs also had three key pieces return to action — Larry Nance Jr., Rodney Hood and Tristan Thompson.
In his return, Nance Jr. had 15 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Hood had nine points, three rebounds and one assist. Thompson had 10 rebounds and four points in his return.
The Cavs were led by LeBron James, who had 27 points, nine assists, six rebounds and one block and one steal. Kevin Love had 20 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists. Jordan Clarkson had 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. JR Smith had 11 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal.
The Cavs shot 49.5 percent from the field and 27.6 percent from three point range. They also had 23 assists on 47 made field goals.
The Suns were led by Troy Daniels who had 20 points, six rebounds and one assist. Marquese Chriss had 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal.
The Cavs will now head on the road for a three game road trip starting at Brooklyn tomorrow afternoon.
