The Cleveland Cavaliers, without Kevin Love, dominate the Charlotte Hornets and win, 118-105. They end their mini, three game road trip by a record of 2-1.
The Cavs had a dominating second quarter, which help them put the game away. They had 42 points in the quarter and it all started with JR Smith bringing the energy off the bench.
Smith finished with 19 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals.
It was all LeBron James however. James has tied Michael Jordan in scoring in consecutive games with double-figures at 866.
James finished the night with 41 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and one steal.
It is just amazing that James is putting up these type of numbers at 33-years-old and in his 15th year in the league. You want to know how great he is? He got a standing ovation and loud MVP chants on the road.
We should never take his greatness for granted and always appreciate it.
Jeff Green had 18 points, one rebound, assist and steal. Rodney Hood had 13 points, five rebounds and one rebound.
It was an all around great team performance by this Cavs team, and a much needed bounce back win after a bad loss at Miami the other night.
The Cavs shot 48.4 percent from the field and they shot 39.3 percent from three. The Cavs also had only six turnovers on the night.
The Cavs will now head home for a much needed, four game home stand that starts Friday.
