Cavs and Warriors meet again in the NBA Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors are no strangers to each other. In fact they are meeting in the NBA Finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Golden State has won three of the four meetings as the only year Cleveland won was in 2016 when they broke a 52 year championship drought in Cleveland.

Game one of the 2018 NBA Finals is 9 p.m. tonight on ABC where the two teams will both begin the quest for the championship. Cleveland comes into this series as the clear underdog, which they have every single year.

Cleveland looks to win game one, something they have never done against Golden State in NBA Finals. The Cavaliers are coming off a game seven win against Boston and the Warriors are coming off a game seven win against Houston.

Injuries have hit both teams as the Cavaliers lost Kevin Love in game five after he went into concussion protocol. For the Warriors, Andre Iguodala remains on the bench with a knee injury.

During the regular season the Warriors beat the Cavaliers twice.

The big question that comes into play for the Cavaliers is if other players will step up and help LeBron James. James has been performing at one of the highest levels anyone has seen, but he knows he needs help. Both teams have played inconsistent at times and that is another huge factor that will play into the series.

The experts are clearly picking the Warriors, but the Cavaliers have proven time and time again they can win when their back is against the wall.
